During her time at Dowling, Katie dominated the Cross Country and Track scene. She won the individual state cross country title three of her four high school years (injured her junior year).

• 12- time State Champion
• 8- time Drake Relay Champion
• Won the Individual National Cross Country Championship in 2009
• Qualified for Footlocker National Cross Country Championships twice (finished 8th both times)
• Led the Maroons to 3 cross country team titles
• Won the State Championship and Drake Relays Girls 3000m all four years
• Earned the Drake Relays Gerry Cooley Award 2009
• Named High School Girls Outstanding Performer in 2009

After high school, Katie accepted a scholarship at the University of Washington where she continued her outstanding running career. In 2012 Katie won the National Championship in the 1500m at the familiar Drake blue oval.

• Led her University of Washington team to a 2nd place finish at the NCAA Cross Country National Meet in 2011
• Captain of the US National Cross Country Team that competed in the World Championships in Punta Umbria, Spain
• Qualified for the USA Olympic Trials in the 1500m in 2012

Katie currently lives in Seattle. She hasn’t been running recently due to injury, but hopes to soon get back to the passion she loves.
