Ashlie excelled as a cross country and track star both at the high school and collegiate level. She was a member of the legendary 2007 Dowling Catholic State Champion Cross Country Team. Ashlie’s time at the state meet was 14:00 and the team score that year was a mere 32 points!

Other accolades earned during her successful running career in high school are as follows:

• Overall Cross Country State Champion (time of 13:37) in 2008
• Ashlie’s time of 13:37 stands as the 2nd best time recorded in the history of the girls cross country meet
• Member of three consecutive State Championship cross country teams (2007, 2008, 2009)
• Part of two State Champion and Drake Relay’s Champion 4X800 relay teams (both record setting efforts).
• Participated in the Nike NXN Nationals in Portland, Oregon in 2007 and 2009
• Finished 15th in nation in 2007, 9th in nation in 2008 and 4th in nation in 2009
• Qualified for Footlocker National Cross Country Championships twice

Along with her achievements in high school, Ashlie made her mark at the University of Minnesota where she ran cross country.

• Member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014 NCAA National Qualifying Team
• Big Ten Distinguished Scholar 2011– 2013
• Academic All-American 2011 and 2012

Ashlie recently graduated from the University of Minnesota and is currently living in Minneapolis. Aside from working at River of Goods, she is a volunteer coach for a youth cross country program and also volunteers as a tutor a few nights a week. She is still running, but purely for the joy of it. Ashley is currently training for the Twin Cities Marathon this fall.
