• While at Dowling, Darryl was a two-time All-American in Track and Field, three-time All State selection and team captain.
• He continues to hold the school record in both the shot put and discus, set in 2003, and was a defensive lineman on the 2001 State Championship football team.
• His track and field success continued at the U.S. Naval Academy where he was a four-time NCAA qualifier, six-time conference champion and set the Naval Academy shot put record.
• Darryl is an active duty Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and an MBA candidate at Ohio University.
