ASHLEY FREERKSEN ‘03 was a four-year starter on the varsity basketball and softball teams. She received all-district and all-state honors all four years in both sports and was the all-time leading scorer in basketball when she graduated.

She went on to play basketball at Northwest Missouri State and then DMACC where she earned All-American honors and led the team in scoring and rebounding. She finished her basketball career at the University of Nebraska in Omaha where she was named newcomer of the year.
