Tim was an all around athlete, especially excelling in football and baseball in high school. He was captain of both teams during his senior year. Aside from many outstanding athletic achievements, Tim also shined in the classroom. He was Scholar Athlete of the Year for the class of 2002.

• Starting linebacker in all 26 games for the 2000 and 2001 undefeated state championship teams
• Defensive Most Valuable Player of the 2001 football team
• Des Moines Register First-Team Elite All State & First-Team Class 4-A All State in Football (2001)
• One of only two juniors to start on the 2001 State Championship baseball team
• Des Moines Register First-Team All District & First-Team All CIML Central Conference in Baseball (2002)

After high school, Tim continued to shine at Drake University, earning his BSBA in accounting with Summa Cum Laude designation in 2005 and his Master of Accounting in 2006.

• Outstanding Accounting Student, State of Iowa, Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants (2006)

Tim and his wife Emily are raising their growing family (Clare 3, Cate 1, and newborn baby Teddy) in West Des Moines. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and is the Vice President of Finance at ITA Group. Tim remains very active in the community. He is a founding organizer of the 80/35 Music Festival and volunteers for both Junior Achievement and Meals from the Heartland.
